As a kid, I never got hugely into Robotech (though I did watch the series where Earth had been taken over and the freedom fighters were the main characters).

The one thing that I knew about it is that I LOVED the mech with the skull on it on the cover. I even owned the toy!

The Robotech Role-Playing Game, published by Palladium Books from 1986 to 1995, is based on the Robotech and Robotech II: The Sentinels series.
The RPG tried to follow the TV series storyline, attempting in its own way to fill in gaps not addressed by the program. #robotech #rpg
