@DLiktorius@_PatrickGod Dacpac is 100% the way to go IMHO. Migrations keep the schema a little too abstract. Modifying schema in the dacpac is 100% intentional.
@robconery If this was SQL Server I would do one thread.
BUT I would do the insert with a user defined table type. Looks like there is something similar in Postgress. I suggest running the experiment.
@davidfowl Doing lots async. Schedule things like payments (month into the future), calculations, batch sending of emails. Anything we needed async.
Basic premise is poll the db for more work, schedule it in a queue and a service processes the work. The durability is critical.
@Darcy_Lussier @TagAlongDeb I submit that you have spent more energy tweeting about it than it takes to make. :)
This one is badass. https://t.co/W1koruEAEc
I was so inspired by Samuel L. Jackson that I had to write my own STFAH song. It's only 70 seconds but it needs a video. So, I'm holding a contest. https://t.co/mCbbluscNi
@prlj13 That's the dream. Log the watts, duration. Then the ultimate goal is to compare it to the weather, work in some machine learning and see if I can predict how many times it will go off based on the forecast.
Gotta get off my ass to do it though.
@prlj13 If you want to go back it would be a super easy paddle, great first canoe trip. I have only been to Crowduck once, craziest fishing I have ever experienced. Just drifting with no information we were getting double headers continuously from out canoe.
