Ready to go for Day 3 of Royal Ascot. Great experience so far with a successful day 1 on the books and were lucky enough to score box tickets for day 2 experiencing the day from the other side of the ledger!
McCormack Bookmaking will be fielding downstairs today at Ascot races. Come and say hello if on course. FWIW I like Best Mood in R7 today. FU after a good trial. Has won twice from 4 attempts first up. Gangemi's look to have it going well. Bit of ew value at $16 on Ned's/Lads.
Pinnacles Day 5 - Gold Rush
Great day of racing to end the Pinnacles, however it was our lowest holding day of the carnival. Crowd numbers were still good but a hot day and maybe some pinnacles fatigue saw a bit of a drop.
Pinnacles Day 4 Northerly

A super day's racing was had for Northerly Day, but the ring was somewhat subdued compared to the first 3 days. The big punters were missing with $100 bets making up the bulk of the hold. We held 50k, about half of recent weeks.
🧵Pinnacles Day 3 Winterbottom
Usually a quieter day after the Railway, this was anything but, with the return of the Comet and some strong betting through the day. The Comet is a quiet punter who lights up the ring every few years backing shorties the place in 10k increments.
🧵 🧵 Pinnacles Day 2
Railway Stakes Day is by far the biggest and best betting day on the WA racing calendar and this year didn’t disappoint, with our biggest ever hold of 121k. Heads were spinning by the end writing a total of 1614 tickets, but these are the days we do it for.
@SDinopoulos I think that’s where we differ as I think he’s every chance of beating JG/OP at WFA and arguable that the weight swing counteracts itself if WMR runs a stronger 1600m than RTI. Just don’t think it’s that bizarre
