History in Detroit tonight:
Kevin McGonigle has reached base multiple times on 53 occasions before the All-Star Game.
That is a new @MLB record, surpassing the mark set by Aaron Judge in 2017.

Why is everybody overthinking this? He's a 6'9 lefty that throws 101 in high school with a nasty arm slot. Has a good changeup and seems to actually know what he's doing on the mound too. He's in the Lackey/Emerson/Roch tier this draft
These are the biggest hands Iโve ever seen for a pitcher. ๐ณ
6โ9โ High School pitcher Brody Bumila throws 101 mph and makes a baseball look like a ping pong ball.
@RainierDays_ It's because the rotation/starter depth there is that good. Someone has a down year and it doesn't matter because someone else has a breakout year. Kade Anderson would probably be up by now, but they don't even have room for him.
That's playing for 7 seasons and even then that's if you play every game. With injuries, how guys don't reach rookie status right away, etc, you're looking at close to a 10 year major league career. I'm honestly surprised it's that high.
"When you hit on a college catcher at the top of the draft, you get a franchise-changing player."

@xOneTrackMind@BaseballAmerica It's all great. But footwork can be taught. You either have hands like that or you don't for the most part. That's what makes plays
@brendan_cubs There needs to be a way for exit velocities to be adjusted on choppers. That ball at the 10 second mark was hit as weak as any ball here, but had one of the highest exit velos in this video.
