What happens when you get bored with VS Code and build your own editor?
I’m finding the answer: Scrakk Code Editor, my best project, developed by me (15yo). Updates & web soon. I'll tag devs so they know I exist. This is big, and I know it.

@elonmusk @SpaceX @gleesonjm Maybe it would be a good idea to grab Starship with a net and transport it using one or more helicopters—I don't know what you all think, but it's the safest approach before the sea destroys it

In another post I mentioned that I was making my own text rendering engine, well now, I am making my own "Electron" together with it, but made with C++ and WebView2, as well as Tauri but in c++, this is powerful.

Scrakk is evolving. Monaco and Skia are out. I am building STE (Scrakk Text Engine) from scratch in C++.
-Zero IPC Lag: Native Electron add-on.
-Direct Memory Access: Max frame stability.
-Native Tree-Sitter: Instant highlighting.

A performance comparison between vs code when scrolling, and Scrakk Code Editor. Obviously there are re-renderers in my editor, but I'm gradually going to reduce them (this happens because of other components that are affecting the main thread).

P.S. To clarify, SCE (Scrakk) is NOT a fork of any code editor, but it is inspired by Layout in Visual Studio Code.

I'm working on some themes; I already have exactly 86 themes, which are divided into 3 sections: light themes, medium themes, and dark themes. Here's a demonstration of 2 dark themes and one medium theme.

I'm having problems with the terminal; the command output sometimes doesn't show up, and when it does, it's not colored correctly. It's frustrating man. Honestly, I think it'll take me a whole week to fix it.
