AI agents may be getting smarter, but the internet isn’t ready to let them take control.
There is a growing problem for companies building autonomous AI assistants.
These agents are supposed to browse websites, shop, book flights and complete tasks without users doing everything manually.
But major websites are increasingly blocking or restricting them.
Amazon has challenged Perplexity’s Comet browser, while banking platforms have raised security concerns about agents accessing customer accounts. Even Meta’s Muse has encountered barriers while attempting online shopping.
The problem is bigger than technical limitations.
Websites want control over their data, customer relationships, security and transactions. AI companies want their agents to operate freely on behalf of users.
Who should control the internet when AI starts using it for us: the user, the AI company or the website?
One thing I’ve always wondered about Captain America wielding Mjolnir in Avengers: Endgame is why he never attempted to fly.
If lifting Mjolnir allowed Steve Rogers to access Thor’s powers, shouldn’t that include the ability to fly? We saw him summon lightning, channel its power through his attacks and use the hammer like Thor.
But throughout the entire battle against Thanos, he never once took to the skies.
Was he actually capable of flying but simply didn’t know how to use that ability, or does wielding Mjolnir not automatically give him access to every single one of Thor’s abilities?
It’s a detail I wish Endgame had explored.
had a roommate in the military who complained about being broke almost every day. I felt sorry for him until I accidentally saw his bank balance. What I discovered made me distance myself from him completely.
His name was Daniel. We shared a room at the barracks, and whenever payday came, he always had one problem or another.
"Bro, I haven't eaten since morning."
"Please, can you lend me something small? My salary is finished."
Sometimes, I bought food for him and even covered his expenses. I never
My ex and I recently started talking again after I followed him on Instagram. He texted me, and we gradually started talking consistently and flirting. It's clear that we're becoming romantically involved again, but I'm wondering if we'll actually get back together.
I also want us to address the issues we had in the past and discuss how we can fix things if we're considering another relationship.
Should I wait for him to bring it up, or should I take the initiative and bring it up myself?
How do I ask where things are going between us without sounding awkward or desperate?
