The Bible collection grows too large for the end table, time for a bookshelf!

Please read the Bible. The truth is printed there for He IS the truth. Toss out those modern textbooks that do nothing but teach you to become a consumer... a locust.

Learn to live.✝️

Unfortunately, it seems a lot of developers had their stuff stolen from them at Gamescom.

If this has happened to someone, try to support them however you can. Money might be tight for some of you, but it's free to follow developers and share their games. #indiedev #gamedev

To clarify, the struggle is to understand and relate, not a financial or mental struggle. Apologizes for that not being clear.

Games and people have changed a lot over the past 5 years and we can't continue on the same path. Below I will point out two things and then elaborate on the rest in longer posts over the next few weeks.

First, the comment about money. When I started this, there was a handful of us running communities that helped people with their games for free. Now, there are hundreds, but not all the new communities are like the old, some are just locusts here to feed on the harvest before they head off to a new industry to feed. Games are just something to profit off of for them.

And to clarify that comment, you can do this and make money, just be honest and fair. We have all seen people boast about numbers that are completely fabricated. Look into who you work with carefully so you make sure you are doing business with good people.

Second, the comment about thanks. I feel its unhealthy for a person and a society when they aren't grateful. Gratitude actually shifts your brain to a better place and helps with stress and negative thoughts. It's simply good for you to be grateful.

This sort of scratches the surface of what I am struggling with but hopefully it gives some idea of what I mean. Things are just different now and I am trying to decide the new path forward for the community and how I fit into that.

Thank you to everyone for the comments and feedback. I have a better idea of what to do now. ❤️

I'll end this by shouting out @igdmag. He has been doing this for 14 years and has been a huge help for both indie developers and myself. He has some amazing projects coming up that I think you will find useful and fun.

An incremental endless idle mining indie game set in the depths of Mount Olympus. You are Constantine, breaking rocks and chasing rare crystals as your only path to uncovering the mountain’s secrets.

🔸 Mine rocks, collect Lefkadium crystals, and unlock powerful upgrades, automation, and talent trees to grow your production.
🔸 Perform Deep Descents to sacrifice progress for permanent multipliers, then stack them across dozens of runs.
🔸 Harness Relics of the 12 Gods of Olympus, Echoes, Ore Veins, the Drill, Resonance Field, and more for explosive idle growth.

In Rose and Locket, you must descend into Underwest and defeat the Seven Deadly Sins to save your daughter. Each sin is represented by a towering boss ruling over their domain with a twisted philosophy and horde of minions.
