Trouble is as I see it… to all the people suggesting he just makes a bit less profit… it’s kind of the law. As a director of a company, you have to make decisions in the best interest of the company… and consider your people… have I missed a fiduciary duty?

@TUIUK Our definitions of customer service differ. For instance… I sometimes do things for my customers that I don’t “have” to do as it’s the right thing to do and because it makes the customer experience better. I’ve learnt that this isn’t the case for @TUIUK and I won’t use again.

Friends beware! I’ve never booked with @TUIUK and won’t again! booked mini break with a friend 15 hours ago… going next week. Booked a family hotel in error and have found an adults only hotel close by for the same price… the amendment fee is more than the holiday cost!

@TUIUK There is no cost you though… I understand your t’s and c’s. I was asking for something that would cost you nothing and make my experience a lot better. I think that the full cost of the holiday being charged as an admin fee is a penalty and not a reasonable charge.

Called them and they said as it’s in their terms and conditions they would have changed for £50 28 days ago. It wasn’t booked then.
The agent agreed it was ludicrous and I can’t understand why @TUIUK can’t see it’s so much more sensible to put us in a more appropriate hotel.
