Day 21. Still no public answers from @JockeyClub.

Three weeks ago, document-based questions were asked based on their own filings and public records.

Silence.

On February 3 (Day 8), TJC messaged me privately:
“Is there a number where we can reach you?”
My answer was clear:
If The Jockey Club wants to respond, do it publicly. On X. Where the stakeholders are.

Since then? Nothing.
Instead of answering publicly, they’re holding a private members-only conference call tomorrow with 130+ members.

Not open to all owners.
Not open to all trainers.
Not open to all bettors.
Not open to all breeders.
Not open to all jockeys.
Not open to the public.

You don’t get to claim you serve the Thoroughbred industry as a nonprofit and then handle serious financial and governance questions in private behind closed lines.

I’ve reviewed TJC and HISA’s public financial disclosures. The numbers raise real concerns.
If everything is proper, answer in public.
Our industry deserves transparency not private calls.

REFORM IS COMING! REPOST AND SPEAK OUT.

@DeepValue47 @NTamm1215 Don’t think. It hurts your brain.

HIghlander Grad ITS OUR TIME

"Just like pulling a picture card with an '11' showing in blackjack, Double Down Horse Racing's It's Our Time (c, 2, Not This Time–Shea D Summer, by Summer Front) made the perfect start to his career in the seventh race from Saratoga on Saturday, taking over from the hot 3-4 favorite Hero Declared (Maclean's Music) at the head of the lane before rocketing home to graduate by an eye-watering 17 3/4 lengths as a 5-1 chance. For his efforts, he becomes a no-brainer 'TDN Rising Star', the sixth for his boom stallion over the last five-plus weeks..." By Alan Carasso @theTDN @TomAmossRacing @TheNYRA #forgingchampions

[Barbara D. Livingston @DRFLivingston]

In his debut performance, IT'S OUR TIME was a dominant (!) winner of today's 7th race at Saratoga for 2-year-old maidens. With Luis Saez up, the colt scored by 17 3/4 (!) lengths.

Tom Amoss trains the son of Not This Time-Shea D Summer, by Summer Front.

IT'S OUR TIME paid $12.
