@_chandrews What I’m saying is that they didn’t have to wear it and cannot be forced to. It’s the exact same argument for the National Anthem. It’s just as much their right to not wear it as it is for somebody to wear it.
@BleacherNation I get that you are high on the bullpen but someone needs to pump the breaks on our hitting in certain situations. You can’t leave that many people on base and expect to win!!
@WatchMarquee Cubs are 22nd and 25th in Runners LOB and Runners left in scoring position respectively and that’s AFTER beating the Pirates 21-0. Can we please talk about that!?! Situational hitting (or lack of it) is killing this team.
@LenKasper at what point do people stop getting taught how to move the runner over? Madrigal had a shift on him with the right side open and no outs and he strikes out looking??
@MattE_Diaz It’s on both. Nothing was done throughout the winter until the owners locked them out. Even then, negotiations didn’t begin on a new deal until a month later. If either side really wanted a deal done that made sense for both parties, a LOT more effort needed to be put in.
@ARizzo44 I understand what you all are doing, but take into account the people who don’t have a seat at these discussions, the FANS. Everyone sacrifices every day and some more than others but let’s not kid ourselves, this was a choice, not a sacrifice.
@gusjohnson I don’t know if I agree. The Texas defense is better this week because the offense is sustaining drives. Once the offense started going quick 3 and outs, the defense was on the field WAY too long.
@Buck@MLB_PR If you want to do a similar game, McClure Field in Norfolk, VA hosted the Navy World Series during WWII. It featured players that chose service over their careers like Pee Wee Reese, Bob Feller and Dom DiMaggio.
@CoachTimCraft@D_Ross3 I would argue it’s not just true with sports but life in general. Your family, workplace, community are all different teams and selfishness can poison the well of any of them.
