@BrockHuard His ABs looked absolutely horrendous yesterday when I was there. Just non-competitive. Especially against a mediocre lefty starter. I don't get it right now.
You know it's tough when you're more invested in seeing if AJ Pierzynski can finish that two foot long Texas dog than watching the #Mariners offense currently
@TheMikeSalk Lineup simply wasn't deep enough. Love love Geno, huge GS in game 5 but had 97 Ks in (65!) games after his arrival. Randy 9/48 in the playoffs. Rivas great story, huge ALDS knock but come on. Canzome, oh boy. Aside from Geno's slam, offense mostly nonexistent after Game 2.
@dickfain Terrible. Even the 2-0 pitch Raley bunted was at his eyeballs. Why are we playing for one run with our two best relief arms unavailable? I don't understand it.
@CPat11 I'm assuming they consulted him on the IL option, I know it's a lot to assume anything with the Mariners but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope they asked him and this is what Mitch wanted.
@dickfain At first glance I did have kind of a hesitation so I understand the poll but yeah after seeing the comments and being reminded of the 4 MVPs, it's not much of a debate. Stafford will certainly be in the ballpark in a lot of the counting stats if he plays another 2-3 solid years
@Joe_Fann Wildcard actually looks to be in play as a fallback too, hopefully split these next two tough home games at the very least, take care of the Bears and get to 10 before a likely a winner take all division finale with the Rams to close
@Softykjr I already saw a couple comments mentioning this but UCLA, Nebraska, and Sparty ahead of UW? Despite the current uncertainty of the roster, come on.
