Thrilled to be included in this documentary alongside @ABDanielleSmith, @Invest_Alberta and @airproducts. Proud to have waste energy recognized a critical tool in Alberta's decarbonization strategy. #Cop28
This is the message Alberta is bringing to the world at COP28 👇
Alberta is an innovation hub, attracting sustainable investments with low operating costs and a skilled workforce.
We are leading in clean energy technology, with hydrogen production, and waste-to-energy, while being committed to a carbon-neutral economy.
Those are just some of the reasons why the world should invest right here in Alberta.
Yesterday I gave a talk on using waste heat in UK industry at the Waste Heat Recovery and Utilisation Conference.
So much of the energy we use is wasted ("rejected energy" in chart).
But the potential for using waste heat is vast. Industrial electrification can unlock this.
The TransMountain pipeline continues to deliver whole heartedly on its original economic thesis. Canada has finally broken itself off of our 100% dependence on US exports. This pipe is creating generational wealth for Alberta and Canada https://t.co/bkpAJtl8YT
The @EdmHeritageFest sustained severe storm damage overnight and will not be open today. All transit and park-and-ride services for the festival are also canceled.
Thank you for your patience and support. #edmontonheritagefestival
Hmm how does one acquire a new family doc in Edmonton?
Had one at the Allin Clinic and who recently moved out of province. Allin said no docs accepting any "new" patients and there is no patient transfer plan
Why invest in the Edmonton Region? 🌟
Varme Energy CEO @SeanCollins11 tells us why.
Recently, Varme partnered with @GibsonEnergy and the Canada Growth Fund to advance their planned waste-to-energy project in YEG. ♻️

Looks like 31.3 will end up as the July 20 daytime high in #yegwx . No record today, but the string of consecutive 30deg days now stands at five, tied for 3rd-most all time. It remains highly likely we'll break the record of 7 days (set in 2021). We're on track for 8 or 9.
