#RecoveryPosse 4 years ago I made the decision to stop smoking weed, best thing I ever did, 2 months later I finally put down the alcohol too, life in sobriety is very different, it’s certainly not without its challenges though🙏🙏🙏

@Ron71787284Ron @angeIatheart Did you quit drinking because you knew you were no longer in control of your drinking, if that is the case, beware of the pitfalls on your journey to sobriety, if you don’t like how it makes you feel, though you continue to do it could be a big red flag to take notice of 🙏🙏🙏

@my_sober_diary For me, speaking about my addiction to alcohol keeps it at the forefront of my mind, it’s important for me to be reminded of who I am, I am an alcoholic, that will never change, what can change is my behaviour towards it, that’s a very dark road to be on..🙏🙏🙏

@my_sober_diary Have you considered going to a meeting, I was in the place you are now, in fact I have been in that place countless times, I discovered AA 20yrs ago, being around likeminded people helped me to overcome the compulsion to drink, I’m nearly 4yrs now..🙏🙏🙏🙏
