@Arnaust7@angel_kld@Garudapura2 i never said it wasnt worse than hikaru's way, all i said is blame fide for letting him do this, its the safest way to potentially become WC. Its shameless but logically the correct thing to do, blame fide
@Arnaust7@angel_kld@Garudapura2 and he chose the one most likely to qualify him to the candidates, and likewise the one most likely for him to become WC. Blame fide for allowing something like this
@Arnaust7@angel_kld@Garudapura2 i agree but to an extent he did the smartest thing he could to qualify to the candidates, blame the game not the player (fide is the game in this example)
@Snorzzs@agadmator i think that while its true gukesh is not the same level as magnus (obviously) this recent slump has been more from mounting pressure of being the champ / prepping for WC / lack of focus rather than not having that X factor, similar to liren
@Ramizdayi2616@chess24com i agree abdussattorov is great but lets not act like this clip shows anything about his play, gukesh blundered, thats it. Horrific blunder doesnt show abdussattorov is great
@1254tot1324@tatasteelchess to commentate classical chess, you quite literally have to go into variants rather than sitting there talking about the last move that has been played for 10+ minutes, variants is found in all chess commentary
