CM they cite journalist Matteo Moretto, who reports that representatives of two Premier League clubs have been in touch requesting information. They were particularly focused on the finances. Sunderland and Nottingham Forest are the clubs named.

They both have excellent relationships with Juventus and have the budget to meet Carnvali’s demands for the midfielder. He’s looking at €35-40m for Thuram this summer, helping to secure around €23-28m for that balance sheet.

Whether Sunderland would be willing to pay that price isn’t mentioned, but the belief is they have the finances to make a bid Juventus would like.

It should be pointed out, though, that Thuram has been linked with numerous Premier League sides at this moment in time.

Indeed, his agents have clearly been offering him around as much as possible to hype up a move this summer in Juventus’ favour. This appears to be more of that, with Juve clearly desperate to get a deal done for as good a price as possible.
