On the eve of Bloomsday, cartoonist/artist Seán Lennon, familiar to readers of The Phoenix, launched his new exhibition at the Central Bank of Ireland as part of @5lampsarts festival. The event was attended by fans of both Seán's work and Joyce's buke (there is quite an overlap).

I saw Bloomberg speak at Al Sharpton's MLK Day breakfast this year.
I can't remember the exact phrase he thought would resonate with the largely black audience, but it was something like "Can I get an 'Amen'??"
