Where do folks who work in data roles stick around the longest? You can use @MotifAnalytics to find out quickly! There is an interesting company with the longest average tenure.
We've ungated access to Motif so try it out and let us know what you learn🚀

we shipped gpt-5.5 instant today to chat; it's rolling out over the next couple days to everyone. for this model, we focused on factuality, crushing hacks, and improving the baseline intelligence. 5.5 is a pretty big step forward on all three. it is much smarter, significantly less likely to hallucinate, and just more delightful to talk to. there is always more to do but i'm pretty excited about this one!

gpt-5 is here today! so excited to see what you'll do with it. we've focused a ton on coding in particular, and i think you'll really enjoy using it for the hardest problems and for building web apps end to end. what you can get out of a single prompt is really remarkable
We're introducing GPT-5. The evals are SOTA, but the real story is usefulness. It helps with what people care about-- shipping code, creative writing, and navigating health info-- with more steadiness and less friction. We also cut hallucinations. It's better calibrated, says "I don't know," separates facts from guesses, and can ground answers with citations when you want. And it's also a good sparring partner 🙃
I've been inspired seeing the care, passion, and level of detail from the team. Excited to see what people do with these very smart models
beyond excited to release the gpt-4.1 family today! these models are really our love letter to developers: more of a focus on real world usage and utility, and less on benchmarks (although those turned out pretty great too).
More than just talks, @DataCouncilAI is where data scientists come to connect, learn, and validate their work. In this exclusive interview, hear how Sean Taylor (@seanjtaylor) thinks about building a track that serves both early career folks and seasoned pros.

We streamlined six new DID-like estimators and created this tutorial for implementation in R.

Hope you no longer need to spend months figuring out what these estimators are and how to use them.

This is a really great idea. A missing link in the economic impacts of AI world is translating scaling laws and model improvements into economic value improvements (WTP metrics). This is a first step.
Just submitted the final proofs of my new book, Impact Evaluation in Firms and Organizations, set to be published by @mitpress this summer! Compared to my first book, #CausalAnalysis, it’s shorter, less technical, and focused on business applications. Here’s the table of contents
