On episode 13 of Third Loop, the Progressive Delivery team sits down with Jennifer Riggins (@jkriggins) to ask whether users actually want everything developers can now ship. From Spotify’s feature overload to the promise of 10x productivity, they examine the gap between delivery speed and customer value. Tune in!

Had a lot of fun talking to @heavybit about tuios and running a bunch of agents at once.

The short version: making a hundred results is cheap. Finding the ten good ones is the challenge, and that's what I keep building for.

[Heavybit @heavybit]

What happens when you start utilizing so many agents at once, and have to have so many terminal windows open that it becomes difficult to keep track of everything? We spoke to Gaurav Gosain on his open source project https://t.co/DZJT0MVtKA: https://t.co/UBRZlZbHLq

[Heavybit @heavybit]

On episode 44 of @opensourceready, Brian (@bdougieYO) and John (@johncodes) join Mikyo King (@mikeldking) of @arizeai to examine what makes an AI-generated contribution worth a maintainer’s time. From useful telemetry to well-documented pull requests, Mikyo makes the case for evidence, context, and human judgment. The conversation connects agent observability with open-source stewardship, defensive security, and the trade-offs of building custom harnesses. Tune in!

[Heavybit @heavybit]

On episode 60 of Generationship, @rachelchalmers joins Vasanth Mohan of @SambaNovaAI to discuss what developers bring to the table when agents can write the code. They examine engineering judgment, the challenge of training junior developers, and the future of developer relations when documentation serves both humans and machines. Tune in!

Pre seed founders should know which funds actually lead

here's part 1 of 20 funds that led or co led a pre seed round this year:

1. @streamlinedvc (@ullastweets) - Palo Alto, co-led Bodhium Labs' $3.5M round in Sep

2. @FlyVC (@mattwichrowski) - Berlin, co-led Tangent Robotics' $4.5M round in Sep

3. @SocialLeverage (@obermattj) - Scottsdale, co-led Elio Mortgage's $5.1M round in Sep

4. https://t.co/eHq5MCur0V (Mark Coffey) - Boston, led Ekai's $1.7M round in Sep

5. @heavybit (@josephruscio) - SF, led Antfly's $2M round in Sep

one lead is worth more than five soft yeses.

On episode 13 of Third Loop, the Progressive Delivery team speaks with Jennifer Riggins (@jkriggins) about why faster code doesn’t automatically mean better software. They explore how AI exposes organizational bottlenecks, why psychological safety matters, and what Spotify’s growing feature set reveals about user value. Jennifer makes the case for smaller experiments, stronger feedback loops, and keeping people at the center of delivery.

On episode 44 of @opensourceready, Brian (@bdougieYO) and John (@johncodes) speak with Mikyo King (@mikeldking) of @arizeai about building AI workflows that improve through observation and evaluation. They explore why evals extend beyond pass-fail tests, how open source helps establish shared practices, and when custom agent tooling earns its complexity. Tune in!

Congratulations to the @Workbrew_ team on 2.0, #ISO27K, bringing in the Updatest team, and giving modern orgs the power to run a secure internal app store.

Here’s what’s new in 🧵

[Heavybit @heavybit]

On episode 60 of Generationship, @rachelchalmers speaks with Vasanth Mohan (@v_mohan_) of @SambaNovaAI about when faster AI agents actually mean better work. They explore why token consumption and code volume are poor substitutes for business value, how inference latency interrupts productive workflows, and why engineering taste still matters. Sometimes the most valuable thing an engineer can produce is less code.

[Cole Seifert @colepseifert]

I thought a leaked API key just meant a surprise bill.

Matt Lenhard (Vectoral) at @heavybit's Infra Horror Night: stolen keys feed "relay" sites reselling every frontier model at a steep discount. Millions of visits a month.

Tokens are the new fraud currency. #SFTechWeek

[Heavybit @heavybit]

Missed DevGuild? @amirzo's follow-up to his long-horizon agents thesis just dropped. Memory Is More than Recall zooms in on the first of the five missing systems, breaking memory down into three connected design choices. https://t.co/geNsEe52kG

[Ram Vinjamuri @RamV2003]

forgot to post day 2 lol

sf tech week day 2: 6/10

waited 20 min to get into claude founder house by @AnthropicAI. did not get in. claude would never do a 10 year claude code user like this

haunted agent + infra horror night by @heavybit and @Tailscale. infra horror stories hit different when you run agent swarms 👻 (the tailscale merch was a nice plus)

[Heavybit @heavybit]

On episode 44 of @opensourceready, Brian (@bdougieYO) and John (@johncodes) sit down with Mikyo King (@mikeldking) to explore why an agent can fail even when its model gets things right. They discuss observing the full agent workflow, using evaluations to uncover unexpected behavior, and testing whether skills actually improve results. Along the way, Mikyo shares how @arizeai approaches open source collaboration as coding agents reshape the contribution process.

Packed room, real war stories, zero roadmap slides 🎃 Thanks to everyone who spent an #SFTechWeek night swapping infra nightmares with Matt Lenhard, J. Paul Reed, and Dr. Jennifer Prendki, and to @FirstCitznInnov and @Tailscale for making it happen with us.

[Chloe Starr @cloeystarr]

Cheap AI tokens. Someone else’s keys. Someone else’s bill. 💀

Matt Lenhard / Vectoral on inference theft and token resale. My mini horror film with @chrisstarrai. Building agents makes this personal: who else can use their access?

@heavybit @tailscale #SFTechWeek

[Heavybit @heavybit]

Similar question, reusable answer? Madelyn Olson (of @valkey_io) explains how semantic caching can avoid repeated LLM inference and how that fits Valkey’s focus on fast, efficient data access. Hear the conversation on episode 43 of @opensourceready.
