@haithamahmedmd "Name it, then stage it, then treat it" in reference to oncology. The whole field in a nutshell, and a nice roadmap when wondering what to do.

Celebrating July 4th and watching fireworks from the @HopkinsMedicine helipad in East Baltimore with a great group of @HopkinsACCM residents. Incidentally my first general OR/trauma call as an attending. Couldn’t be with a better group of people! 🎆🇺🇸
On Thursday, we welcomed our new @HopkinsACCM CA1s for their first day of clinical orientation in the ORs. It is hard to believe how much can be learned in three years, but wonderful faculty, a great program, and challenging cases make it possible. Trust the process!
Sending a heartfelt thank you on my last day of residency to @HopkinsACCM and its wonderful faculty and teachers. Thank you for a terrific three years. Looking forward to one more as a fellow!
Letter to Editor of @AcadMedJournal that I wrote on how to support residents during the COVID-19 pandemic appeared as an e-publication ahead of print. Thinking of residents, programs in FL, TX, AZ going through what we did in MD a couple months ago. https://t.co/jwvpjSulIV
Wrapping up 6 weeks of learning ECMO and caring for the sickest COVID19 patients @HopkinsMedicine in our CCU and CVSICU negative pressure units. One of the most challenging and fulfilling experiences of my training
My presentation last week, "the ethics of mechanical ventilator allocation amid the COVID19 pandemic," for the @HopkinsACCM#COVID19 journal club https://t.co/9YrkNwofhg
One of the best physician anesthesiologist educators and clinicians, Dr. Dawn Ledbetter. Lucky to have her as an attending @HopkinsMedicine@HopkinsACCM#PhysAnesWk20
Resident @SeanLoveMD recognized diplomate Dawn Ledbetter, M.D., of @HopkinsMedicine for her influence in learning, guidance in the OR & excellence in patient care. Dr. Love said that Dr. Ledbetter always inspires him to go the extra mile. #PhysAnesWk20#ABAPhysicians
I spoke with my alma mater @BrownMedicine about my work defending the health and human rights of Julian #Assange, who remains in a medical ward in a maximum security prison in London pending hearings regarding extradition to the US https://t.co/9ZmKYR8yGk
With co-resident and fellow @BrownMedicine alum Dr. Sophie Lin at the gravesite of William T. G. Morton, the man who gave the first public demonstration of inhaled ether as a surgical anesthetic. Part of our fantastic @HopkinsACCM “history of anesthesia tour” of Boston, MA
My interview with @JorgeGestoso for @telesurenglish on Julian #Assange’s health inside the Ecuadorean Embassy and years of mistreatment under international law. This version in English. https://t.co/N0jVroD0qU
My interview with @JorgeGestoso, host of "Entrevista con Jorge Gestoso" and former anchor of @cnnespan, airs tonight (in English) on @teleSURtv/@telesurenglish. We spoke at length about the health and human rights situation of Julian #Assange
#Assange physician @sondracrosby16 submitted affidavit to @UNHumanRights days before arrest saying “Mr. Assange’s right to doctor-patient confidentiality was violated, and his confidential information had been breached” during recent eval https://t.co/5IimLM2i5n
Never did I witness Assange having poor hygiene or discourteous behavior toward embassy staff. His suffering was readily apparent, yet he was always pleasant, professional; admirable characteristics under extreme and punitive circumstances. https://t.co/rBHLujRQJv
