Watch this man BRILLIANTLY explain why Donald Trump's tariffs plan will be a complete DISASTER for hard-working Americans.
🚨This is EXCELLENT.

White friend:I don’t understand what happened?
Me:You have family who voted for #Trump?
Them:Yeah, lots.
Me:Did you ever talk to them about voting for #Harris?
Them:No! We have a family rule, we don’t talk politics, it just makes everyone upset!
Me:Well that’s what happened.
aside from the obvious, (hating minorities) I think this clip from George Carlin explains why Trump has such a huge following despite being such an unpleasant moron.
That, and some people are just too stupid to recognize bullshit when they hear it.
Regardless of the outcome at this point, I really hope this outcome ends the idea that Trump's first term was some sort of fluke, that we as a country are 'better than that.' Naive, see-no-evil ass position that self-sabotages the work of building an holsitic alternative vision.

9⃣ The Supreme Court will be ultra-conservative for decades—likely the rest of all our natural lives. Our civil rights and civil liberties will be winnowed down to nothing as the Court rather openly works on the project of making America a Christofascist theocratic state.
If Trump wins, there will be efforts to blame Russian interference or the Harris campaign or Biden, etc. That's all fair. But we need to be clear eyed that a huge swath of America likes what Trump is selling. Transphobia. Mass deportation. That's what he ran on. And here we are.
I don’t think it’s helpful to wish people ill. Latinos wanted this man. I hope that works out for them. White women had a chance to restore abortion rights. They declined. I hope that works out for them.
People get the country they deserve.
Never ceases to amaze me how many folks who’ve heard RATM are in Paul Ryan mode, having literally ZERO understanding of anything that band was about and even less understanding where any of us might stand on contemporary issues. Recently was talking to a couple at a restaurant who were big fans of “Killing In The Name”. The nice lady said, “I love that song. It helped me rage against my parents and later against the jab!” I said, “Ma’am that song is about racist cops who often behave like the Ku Klux Klan in service of historical white supremacy and are boot licking lackeys and thugs of the racist capitalist ruling class.” She sat there chewing and blinking, chewing and blinking.
