This is a weird flex which kinda goes into the heart of why we lack diversity. I went to a school were certain teachers thought because of my background, I won’t become a lawyer, let alone pass year twelve. I did all that. Why did they think so?

Because I didn’t look like the kind of people who did this. Their idea of excellence was white - the one they had got used to seeing. How do I know this? B/C most of the black kids were treated this way - a teacher told a friend if I was you, I won’t even bother taking the exam!
