My new book is out TODAY! It’s called “A Clear Flowing Yarra: visions of Melbourne’s river as it is and could be”. If you like my incessant animal posting and you also like hearing from people who know way more than me about things, you might like it! https://t.co/DKbRlSsZnQ
For reasons that I feel should probably be pretty obvious *waves hand in general direction of the (M)US(K)A* I don’t have much of an appetite to post on this platform at the moment. But you can find me on the other place at [email protected]. Over there I look like this:
Now in #Ramallah: collective punishment by the Israeli army, which closed all the exits from the city, following the celebrations of the prisoners release
Despite the ceasefire being implemented today and going into full effect, and with our teams busy returning home or checking on their homes with their families, we still wanted to make sure we contributed something meaningful today. One of our team members was returning to the upper northern areas of Jabalia from Gaza City, so we decided to make the most of the opportunity by distributing cash aid with the liquidity we had left.
We carefully prepared envelopes with the available liquidity and cash, and in total, we managed to distribute 25 envelopes, each containing 200 NIS. These funds were given to families making their way back, to offer them a small measure of relief as they began to rebuild their lives after the devastation. It was important to us that even on a day of transition like this, we continued to extend a helping hand to those who need it most.
Thank you to everyone who keeps supporting the Translating Falasteen @translatingpal x The Sameer Project North Campaign.
We hope that we can be a part of the forces of good that rebuild Gaza and its dreams.

ICC’s Karim Khan says the israelis have made ‘no effort’ to investigate war crimes accusations made against them, so the arrest warrants still stand https://t.co/Dia1zGzek2
Israel killed Hala and her entire family today by dropping a bomb on their home in Gaza—just after agreeing to a ceasefire.
Hala was a young doctor, devoted to saving lives.
She was not a combatant.
This is a crime against humanity.
No one in Gaza talks of ceasefires anymore. Today, it's just the intensified israeli bombs—louder, closer. Imagine living all these months of genocide, only to be killed now. Horror upon Horror.

I took this picture of my son Emad, who was so happy because a ceasefire was announced in Gaza. 💔
An hour later, a loud bombing occurred nearby. Terrified, Emad ran to me, crying, “Daddy, didn’t they say there’s a ceasefire on the news? Why are they still bombing? Isn’t the war over, Daddy?”
I had no answer for him. Just yesterday, I was celebrating the ceasefire with everyone in the camp, filled with hope. But today, the bombing is relentless and random.
Could it be that we’ll die at the very end of this war? 😢
Please, keep us and my little Emad in your prayers during these critical moments before the ceasefire takes effect in Gaza.
Every single person who remained seated is an abject coward. A room full of regime stenographers who spend their lives etching out flimsy names for themselves with the blood of our people.
A bloody morning in Gaza: Israel is racing against time to kill as many Palestinian civilians as possible before the ceasefire takes effect.
At least 60 civilians were slaughtered this morning, including dozens of children.
Palestinian journalist Anas al-Sharif reported that Israeli forces killed over 30 Palestinians, including children, in Gaza within hours of the announcement of a ceasefire deal
6 am: Israeli tanks are shelling central Gaza very heavily. Intense gunfire heard across the northwestern coastline in Al-Nusairat Camp.
Tough hours. The artillery shelling is insane. The bombardments are ratcheted up.
Rapidly increasing casualties all across the strip.
“An hour ago, I was documenting the joy of the people of Gaza over the news of the ceasefire, but the Israeli occupation as usual continues to commit massacres and kill joy in people's hearts.”
