Fake news is ridiculous. Chandler-Mather left the party because he could not remain following Rudd's off-shore detention stance for Nauru, and wanted to follow a more progressive movement. Even the Murdoch Press has reported this.

Earlier today Anthony Albanese was sworn in as the 31st Prime Minister of Australia. He was also sworn in with Richard Marles, Penny Wong, Jim Chalmers and Katy Gallagher. Mr Albanese and Ms Wong will be attending the Tokyo summit, they are on their way now.

Let me quickly explain why the seat of Brisbane hasn't been called Greens, even though they are ahead by a margin of 5.3% of estimated preferences. Because of the Two Candidate Preferred system (2PP), if the Labor candidate Madonna Jarrett overtakes the Greens Candidate, they win

This is because then Greens preferences will flow to Labor, not the other way around. Greens preferences tend to favour Labor so therefore Labor would win the seat. Right now this could happen with just a 0.2% increase in the primary vote. Source: ABC
