@DanTalksGames This seems like a small thing to be upset over. Up to 16d6 damage plus flanking support seems solid. The baseline weap prof change to focus spell is a little meh but still nothing to write home about. Anyway, thanks for the response I don't engage much but always enjoy your posts

Nat 20 on initiative = choice of 2 action "surprise" round for you or all opponents off guard until the end of their first turn
Nat 1 = you're off guard until the end of your first turn

@MichaelJSayre1 Battle oracle with chosen one background (if you're allowed rare bg). Bg plays into the mythos around Arthur and I like the oracle as a variant to the inspiration angle. Pick spells like bane, bless, heroism, organsight, fear, etc. Then the obvious marshal/cavalier archetypes

@FallenKnightVT You could, in theory, add this to other situations and give an alternative to combat. I've been wanting to try a situation where a hostile NPC has an influence threshold that makes them less hostile but haven't worked one up yet
