By my best mathematical estimate, 54.3% of Canadians receive some cheque from a level of government (Fed., prov., and/or municipal) every month in this country. Many get more than one.

It's 63.3% if we only consider Canadians over the age of 15.

That's why the country keeps voting Liberal. We've become a nation dependent on government.
