@feliciaday Priming a 3D printed mini is super important for paints to stick. A spray is recommended for this. I often use Citadel's Waithbone spray, but many people prefer a black primer to start. There's a whole world of thoughts on this, but there is only one important aspect: Prime them.

@feliciaday Vallejo paints are good. Heard good things about army painter. Citadel is fine, but pricey and the containers suck.

Learn about priming and get a spray primer (I use a citadel one). This helps paint stick to the model better.

Get a wet palette and learn about thinning paints.

@feliciaday For paints, I started years ago with Citadel sort of by "default". Citadel containers can build up dried paint & not close properly.

When I started using dropper bottles, I was able to waste less paint & have better control over it. Vallejo & Army Painter use dropper bottles.

@feliciaday I only just recently started using a wet palette and I wish I'd have been using one from the start. It helps with paint control sooo much, and prevents it from drying out so fast while in use or between painting sessions. I like the Redgrass wet palettes: https://t.co/2HwLMFJNOb

A shortlist function for various choices.

To be able to separate out or flag say, three or four choices of boots from the HUGE list of options, and click between them easily without having to re-scroll through and remember which ones were which.
