The equally drunk witness who “can recall only shreds of the crash” isn’t a highly reliable source of info.

@DirtyTesLa @Tesla @elonmusk Not that Tesla did this intentionally but they’re probably happily collecting instances like this where the hardcoded rules failed. That way they can come to the NHTSA down the line and get more leniency.
