Chronic heart failure is the reason why (sick) people die from heat stroke whilst at rest. Heart failure is most likely due to advanced coronary artery disease for which the single biggest risk factors are type 2 diabetes/insulin resistance/inappropriate diet high in carbs and ultra-processed foods.
Why such high risk individuals actually die from heatstroke during a heat wave is not because of "climate change". It's because they cannot afford cheap electricity to cool their homes. Why they can't afford cheap energy then becomes the proximate cause of their deaths.
In addition, the goal of the net zero movement is to eliminate farming and the production of real foods. With no access to real foods deaths from type 2 diabetes will explode even further
So for these 2 reasons, the net zero movement will become the direct cause of why more people will die from heatstroke in the future, whether or not the climate is actually changing.
@topfotogmw@jon_trickett What is socialist nonsense? Isn’t socialism just an ideal, like capitalism? Both are aimed at the betterment of society just using different methods 🤷🏻♂️
FACT: The NHS has a critical shortage of doctors and nurses. FACT: being vaccinated doesn’t stop transmission. Therefore it’s crashingly stupid and self defeating to fire doctors and nurses who haven’t been jabbed. @sajidjavid would be wise to u-turn
It is not too late for @sajidjavid to u-turn on the crazy “no jab no job” NHS rule, in light of the now overwhelming evidence that vaccination doesn’t prevent transmission. Patient welfare is more important than saving face.
Brilliant and brave broadcaster @MaajidNawaz has been abruptly cancelled by @LBC for challenging lockdowns/vaccine passports/mandatory jabs. Knifed by woke lefty colleagues who did same to @Nigel_Farage Switch to @talkRADIO for some common sense!
Running is safe. Despite the stress on our bodies (perhaps because of stress), runners do not have more heart attacks than those who do not run 5K races. In fact, statistics show that we have fewer cardiovascular problems because of our healthy lifestyles. #RunWithHal
@Mhal2005 @SamHarrisOrg On the same basis, but for far greater public benefit, we should also make the following compulsory:
1. Daily exercise 2. Healthy diet 3. Pay caps for the stupidly wealthy
This government is capable of the most heartwarming compassion and tender solicitude. They show it every day to to their billionaire friends and large corporations. If hungry families choose not to be rich, they have only themselves to blame.
