UNVEILING: Progress is the party I have helped start over the last year. We want to give voters a choice that's more than "none of the above." A home for the politically homeless. We can all see the Greens and Reform aren't serious choices. Progress is the answer. It's time for hope and a proper plan for turning Britain around.

Our first set of announcements will show you our policies - the most technically developed of any party - and, soon, our Community Investment Projects (or CIVs), where we've been already changing peoples' lives for the better for the last six months.

We'll also share our comprehensive political philosophy, which I believe will be a new intellectual rallying point for the country, at a time when we collectively seem to have lost touch with what we believe in and why. I'm very proud of it.

All of these things are the necessary bedrock for starting a serious party that knows what it believes in, what it wants to achieve, and how to achieve it.

Now I'm going to ask you to join us. I know you're probably thinking, "What another party? Why would I join this?" Let me tell you, we did not want to start this party. We did it because we have seen the inside of all of the other parties and movements. We saw for ourselves that a better alternative was needed. So we have built it.

For the last year I've been helming the development of Progress, a new British political movement beyond left and right, for whom I have been acting as founder and leader.

Today we are publicly releasing our policy testament, and with it, introducing our party and organisation for the first time.

If you've been reading this feed over the past fortnight you'll have some idea of what we think is wrong with Britain. The tweets were not an exercise in commentary. They were the opening argument of a case we intend to prosecute through the coming years, made by a group of highly able everyday citizens who have spent years looking at the parlous state of the country in which they live and feel summoned to duty.

Progress' philosophy is a best-of-both-worlds approach to the mixture of political spectrum positions. We believe in industrial development, real wage increases for the worker, skills and training, healthy public services (including and especially the NHS), and giving everyone in Britain a fair stake in their society; we will do more for working people on these issues than Labour have in living memory. We will do more to secure Britain's streets from crime than the Tories have in a century. We are committed to answering the public's repeat and clear wishes on immigration in a way that is both uncompromised and robust, as well as utterly civilised. We are in step, and side-by-side, with the median voter on these issues because Progress was founded by the median voter, for the median voter. We are the proud and natural home for the politically homeless.

You may ask, "Why not Reform or Restore or the Greens?" In short, we at Progress understand implicitly the scale of the problems that face our country. We know that only organisations capable of the highest performance have a chance of wresting those problems to the ground. We look at Reform and Restore and the Greens and, like you, are left in no doubt that they are incapable of the level of performance required. They are conventional political organisations capable only of conventional things. Britain needs something far greater than that.

The policy testament we are sharing with you today is the richest, longest, and most comprehensive integrated vision for the future of Britain written yet this century, a document that will continue to evolve as our understanding of how to best serve our people grows. We invite you to read it. It was written by people who take you and your needs extremely seriously.

And yet, for all that, half a million words of policy is the easy part. The real challenge comes now, in building a political machine up and down the country not merely capable, in time, of contesting elections, but capable in the immediate term of providing value to the communities in which they are embedded. This is the essence of our aim: not to beg trust but to win it through service, without being asked and without asking anything in return. At Progress, we call this 'CIV', or 'Community Investment'.

Our work may elapse over a generation before it bears fruit. Fate may intervene to bring it to resolution, good or bad, long before that. In the chaos of our world there's no way to know. But what is in our control is our drive and ability to build, and "build" is what we're doing and what we’re going to do. We require community leaders, active and would-be, to help support our existing CIVs up and down the country and build more. We require experts and technicians of every stripe. Outsized and unusually shaped talent is the alpha and the omega of our organisation. We require, above all else, any and everyone who has looked at what Britain has become and concluded that responsibility for fixing it must lay with the people, not with a professional failure class.

Never doubt that, as dark as things seem in this land of ours, there are those fighting, hard and earnest, to right the course. If you’re stirred by duty, if you wish to work with a British political organisation that can do things others can't, then come and give us your hand.

It is pointless trying to understand the contemporary British media complex as ‘media’ in the conventional sense—journalism, reporting, or even opinion. The correct frame is propaganda: mood and sentiment management, with its sharpest tool today being crisis communications.

The dominant technique, visible daily if you still watch, is inversion—systematic reversal. It flips reality: victim into perpetrator, aggressor into defender, truth into falsehood, good into evil. It constructs Walter Lippmann’s ‘pseudo-environment’, an alternate reality in which the public is meant to dwell.

A key subtype is projection, or ‘accusation in a mirror’, neatly summarised by a Rwandan Hutu propagandist in a 1990s manual: impute to your enemies exactly what you and your own side are planning or doing.

When a genuine crisis erupts—such as the racially aggravated murder of Henry Nowak—the first imperative of the machine is to stall, dampen, and defeat the natural eruption of public outrage.

Call it ‘restoring calm’ if you like the euphemism. In practice, it means herding people back into anaesthetised normality so that inversion can resume.

Once the majority has been shamed, distracted, or bullied into silence, the remnant still angry can be ridiculed by the usual chorus—eye-rolling panellists on Have I Got News for You, columnists sneering at those ‘harping on’, and accusations of crypto-racism or worse.

Thus, the brutal stabbing of an unarmed 18-year-old student, the false cry of racism by his killer, and the police reportedly handcuffing the dying boy as he bled out on a Southampton street is repackaged as another ‘knife crime’ tragedy (note Shaban Mahmood’s flaccid parliamentary statement this afternoon)—preferably illustrated with a generic white face in the style of the BBC's so-called reality-based drama 'Adolescence' or the more recent but equally putridly manipulative 'The Capture'.

Real patterns (grooming gangs, crime disparities, two-tier policing) are airbrushed. This is projection at work: the actual sources of predation and institutional failure are recast, while legitimate grievance is pathologized.

The truth? The system enabled both the attack and the immediate inversion of its aftermath and that stands exposed to anyone with eyes and functioning brain by the video evidence. That’s the problem, your own 'lying eyes', that crisis communications has to handle before there can be a return to normal levels of public mood management can be restored.

This is precisely what Dan Hodges is performing when he labels people demanding we talk about the murder ‘scum’ for refusing to respect the family’s wish that their son’s death not be politicised. It is phase-one grunt work in the inversion protocol: shame the angry back into silence so the pseudo-environment can be restored.

Smart enough to know his role, malleable enough to perform it willingly—exactly as Noam Chomsky described the filtering process that keeps the right sort of voice prominent in the system.

The technique still works on some. But it is wearing thin. Every overplayed inversion, every *scummy* dismissal of raw public grief, prepares the ground for sharper identities and clearer grievances against the system itself. Normal people do not remain moderate forever when the machine insists their reality is the problem.

From day the Windrush arrived on our shores, the British state has completely transformed our country at the behest of new arrivals.

The process was perhaps slow at first. It took nearly 20 years for the Race Relations Act, the infamous piece of legislation against which Enoch Powell argued and was ultimately sacked for it. But all the same, over time, our national character and all institutions of state have been rendered utterly unrecognisable in the quest to accommodate these new arrivals at the expense of those who trace their lineage to this land for countless generations.

The question is: why? This was entirely avoidable and unnecessary. We effectively imported the grooming gangs — one of the most horrific crimes to happen on British soil. We transformed London to the degree that a huge percentage of subsidised social housing is occupied by people with hardly any ties to this land. We ripped up our institutions to accommodate them. We were subjected to further immigration still to “rub [our] noses in diversity and render our arguments out of date.”

Did we get anything out of this? Blood libel against our people, saying we never built this country, that we were “always a country of immigrants.” Why do we have to put up with this? It is political gaslighting, plain and simple.

Whenever a minority has been murdered there have been calls for systemic change. Stephen Lawrence’s murder led to a foundational change in the British policing system and his mother was even made a peer of the realm. What happens when a white person is killed in a racially motivated attack? Nothing. Silence.

Not only that, but the accusation of racism has become so powerful that it has become directly responsible for mass casualty events like the Manchester Arena bombing, where security guard worried stopping him would cause him issues from such an accusation. This is how Henry Nowak was allowed to bleed to death in an undignified manner, the last thing he heard were his rights being read out.

This is intolerable. It can go on no longer. It is time to put a stop to this fundamental transformation of Britain simply to make people who arrived here five minutes ago feel more comfortable. What was built over 2000 years can be destroyed in 20. It is an injustice to British people for this to happen. It is time to say enough.

I have rarely felt so sick, so utterly miserable watching something so contemptible and sinister on social media. This will turn your stomach. All those responsible for this deserve to face real justice, not the two-tier DEI-driven injustice we suffer currently. The same woke injustice that let this innocent man bleed out on the street in handcuffs with no one around him showing him any love or human warmth in his final moments. Imagine this was your son. I have two. I cannot begin to imagine this. But I feel assured by the system that people who could threaten their very lives someday in the future have already arrived on these shores. One day when they’re away at university, on a night out with friends in some satellite town, when they move into London for work, one idle Tuesday evening as they walk home from that work… I can’t even contemplate it, but as a responsible parent I am forced to now. The Macpherson Report and the murder of Henry Nowak are causally linked through the corrosive logic of multiculturalism and its institutional offspring: two-tier policing.

By the time he was stabbed to death in December 2025, 18-year-old Henry Nowak would have been eight years younger than the 1999 Macpherson Report. The nature of the former—and especially the police response—is directly tied to the latter.

Sir William Macpherson’s inquiry into the Stephen Lawrence case redefined institutional racism expansively. It instructed police to prioritise perceptions of racism from minority complainants. This well-intentioned reform, born of genuine outrage at one racially motivated murder, embedded a structural bias: complaints from certain communities received swift deference, while the concerns of the native majority were often dismissed as prejudice.

Over a quarter-century, this shifted the state’s posture from impartial referee to quasi-imperial active manager of ethnic sensitivities. 

Fast-forward to Southampton, 3 December 2025. Henry Nowak, a Polish-British student, was stabbed five times—including a fatal chest wound—by 23-year-old Vickrum Digwa, who was legally carrying a 21cm kirpan, a privilege extended to no others in British society. As Henry lay dying in his own blood, Digwa falsely claimed racial abuse (citing a bruised eye). Officers handcuffed and arrested the victim rather than rendering immediate aid.

Police later apologised—unconvincingly, particularly after the leaked bodycam footage emerged. The IOPC is investigating. This is not mere incompetence. It is the predictable outcome of Macpherson’s legacy: officers socialised to fear being labelled racist more than failing to protect life.

Listen to Henry’s father. Watch the leaked video and don’t look away. Henry didn’t get a dignified death. He died frightened, drowning in his blood while being mocked and then advised of his rights. Scriptwriters would be sent back to the room if they suggested something so on-the-nose in a gritty drama—yet this is grotesque UK reality.

People should be furious about it. The government is paralysed by ideology, fear, and cowardly shamelessness. Genuine media that holds power to account is in short supply.

Setting anger aside for a moment, multiculturalism erodes the pre-political loyalty that underpins state legitimacy—the special sauce of governance. When institutions apply justice asymmetrically—aggressive on Islamophobia or native 'hate', hesitant or inverted when minorities are perpetrators—trust collapses. This is textbook anarcho-tyranny.

Polls show historic lows in institutional confidence. Incidents like Nowak’s, amplified by grooming scandals, knife crime disparities, and uneven protest handling, accelerate the collapse.

The consequences are stark: feral zones in cities, rural-urban fractures, nativist backlash, and escalating intercommunal violence. Would you choose to walk your dog where Wayne Broadhurst was stabbed to death, or send your son to university where he might be degraded while dying and begging police for help? What would you do if violence and rape regularly targeted you and yours and the police seemed indifferent?

It used to be brushed off as part and parcel' of modern urban life, or 'don’t look back in anger'. That was low, dishonest, and weak. Now the strategy is silence—which may be the least bad option left for this dishonest, discredited government.

We are sliding toward the civil conflict I have warned of—not as cause, but as consequence—of Britain’s unravelling as a coherent nation. The drivers are obvious because they strike normal people faster, wider, and deeper. The reactions are predictable. War is adaptive behaviour; civil war is simply more brutal and socially miasmic. Henry’s killing is not an isolated tragedy. It is a chapter in a larger, nationally suicidal debacle imposed on ordinary people by a governance system that has grown functionally undemocratic over thirty years.

Via FOI I have found out that this assumption now accounts for a *fifth* of all non-EU emigration - and rising rapidly.

You need causal powers, and something like formal causation. But c.f. 2022 Nobel Prize in physics, we now have definitive empirical proof that the formal unity of something (entangled particles) can cause outcomes that cannot be caused by the constituent elements of the entangled system. So we *do* have a very clear cut example of a "whole" producing novel outcomes. The "whole" of the mind can in principle do the same, and that might (speculatively) dovetail nicely with an Integrated Information theory of the brain.
