Today marks the start of the 24th winter @Olympics. These are the boots @SebaJohnson wore in the '88 games where she became the first black female skier and youngest skier (at age 14!) to compete in the #Olympics. See them in #3D: https://t.co/rwSraDziFF #Beijing2022 @NMAAHC

@SebaJohnson @ScepticalDoctor @Veganella_ I don’t do much but point to people like you who are living proof that you can be healthy and, in your case, thrive on a plant based diet. 💕

[Seba Johnson @SebaJohnson]

@VeganRoo @ScepticalDoctor @Veganella_ It feels quite nice when people (you, @VeganRoo in this case) can debunk false claims by so-called nutritionists or organizations who claim eating plants contributes to a “slow death.” I’ll be 50 years old a week from now, still eating totally vegan — since birth! 🍃💝🌿

@ScepticalDoctor @Veganella_ @SebaJohnson would make an interesting case study. Youngest alpine ski racer in Olympic history, 0 protein since birth 😱

Oh, and also go without eating anyone who bled this holiday season. 🦃🍂🍃🍁 https://t.co/GtHy2dGkJR

@normalishvegan @Jacqui_Yeol @JamieRohu @boucherhayes @NimaiDelgado “Was?” I’m still alive, lol (at 49 years old)! But seriously, thank you for mentioning me @normalishvegan 🌱to prove a point. It is my hope the confusion re: veganism will one day cease. I’m living proof that one can live their entire life without taking the life of someone else.

I spent a few days in Buffalo seeing how the Black community is coping with the racist massacre at Tops Market — an act that is as sickening as it is heart shattering & rage inducing. This is the worst modern-day attack on Black life, since Charleston.🧵 https://t.co/8Ncmak9Wmu

"To ensure more Black, aspiring Olympic skiers see themselves in this sport, adults will have to care enough to make a path for them to step on to and thrive. It can’t be as far away as seeing it on TV.” - @SebaJohnson to @AP #OlympicGames 9/x
