I hereby officially announce my candidacy for President of the United States as a Republican in the 2028 election.
Sure, I'm 22, an anarchist, a Chinese citizen, and on a student visa, but, as Malatesta said, "Impossibility never prevented anything from happening."
(1/3)
I am a consequentialist libertarian. I am not dogmatic. I accept the possibility that the state and its proponents might be able to prove conclusively certain interventions could be superior to laissez-faire.
However, the burden of proof is on them, and they have yet to do it.
@_Credible_Hulk I get the mix of private and public insurance part, but in what sense is insurance in Germany, France, Switzerland, etc. non-universal?
Our economy is 36% smaller than it would have been because of zoning, and it is at least 50% smaller because of immigration restrictions.
If elected, I will build broad coalitions to restore the right to build and the right to immigrate and deliver broad-based economic growth.
If elected president, I will work with local governments to reform zoning laws to make housing and childcare more affordable for working Americans. Specifically, I will withhold federal subsidies to local governments who do not make the necessary reforms.
New @AEI: Zoning isn't just a housing affordability problem, it's a childcare affordability issue.
While it's fantastic that zoning's impact on housing has generated action, zoning's impact on all sorts of other goods and services is wholly underrated.
A Sebastian Song Administration will end special interest politics.
You get rich by providing goods and services consumers demand and making their lives better, not by getting favors and privileges from the government at the public's expense.
If elected president, I promise a full release of the Epstein files, full investigation of everyone involved, and full prosecution of everyone complicit.
As a true outsider, I am not beholden to the Epstein class, and will not tolerate child abusers.
American anarchist Benjamin Tucker defined anarchism as "the belief in the greatest amount of liberty compatible with equality of liberty; or, in other words, as the belief in every liberty except the liberty to invade."
This is the ideal I will fight for as president.
@JamesDeanPink25 If you mean neighborhood watch groups ("vigilans" just means "awake" in Latin), sure. I don't like the term "vigilante" because it assumes that some people have the right to enforce justice while others don't. But these groups have to be accountable.
@JamesDeanPink25 Should be done by communities and voluntary organizations, not the state. Moreover, it should not create a separate class of people with more coercive power over others as statist policing does right now.
ICE has kidnapped and caged a peaceful engineer with chronic kidney disease named Izzy.
Never stop speaking out for Izzy and others like him.
Free Izzy.
