In contravention to the Pretoria agreement (CoHA), the government of Abiy Ahmed has released a film (documentary?) that promotes hate and animosity against the people of Tigray. The signatories of the Pretoria agreement, mediators and the observers have the obligation to stop the broadcast and dissemination of this film per article 3(3) of the agreement.

The decision to withhold aid only exacerbates the suffering of those in desperate need. Aid agencies+donors must find alternative approaches to hold actors that diverted humanitarian aid accountable without further jeopardizing the lives of vulnerable communities.
