However, under local requirements, I need to hire a paid local lawyer to formally open a police case. @Ledger @Ledger_Support I am an actual victim of the recent Ledger reseller tampering incident in Malaysia.

At the beginning of June, I saw an offline store listed on Ledger’s official website. As an ordinary consumer, I fully believed that any physical store shown on Ledger official site was a genuine official shop. I had absolutely no knowledge of third-party authorized resellers or the risk of hardware tampering. On June 4, I bought my Ledger device at this offline store with full trust in the Ledger brand.

On October 10, I suddenly found all Bitcoin assets in my Ledger wallet were stolen. Most of my investment funds came from loans. I entered the market based on positive market expectations and chose Ledger purely for its reputation of safety. There are many hardware wallet options on the market, and I picked Ledger only because I trusted it.

After discovering the massive loss, I rushed to the police station in Malaysia. I arrived at 3 p.m. and went through my full statement at the case centre. Unfortunately, local police told me I need to hire a paid local lawyer to formally open a police case. Due to heavy loan debts and severe financial hardship, I cannot afford lawyer fees now.

I am a first-time Ledger user, and this incident has shattered my family’s financial hope. I have sorted out and sent all device info, purchase records, and **the 14 stolen BTC outgoing transaction records**, including every transaction ID, source address, destination address and full on-chain details to Ledger official support ticket (Case‑00285253).

I sincerely hope Ledger can consider the standpoint of an ordinary loyal consumer, take my extreme situation seriously and provide a fair and satisfactory resolution for my huge losses.
