If you are secure in yourself, you recognise that you do not know everything. That awareness keeps you open to continuous learning, new approaches, & different perspectives. You welcome questioning & constructive challenge, including questioning own bias. Lifelong learning!
@TrisOsborneMP@DanielKebedeNEU You stated "They are right however that we need smaller class sizes."
How do you do this if you do not increase funding per pupil sufficiently above inflation & pay award costs?
@SophyRidgeSky This is the true @michaelgove and @Conservatives legacy to education!
How can you say the system you created was your greatest triumph in government when there are now 1m+ NEETS
But, but, but look at our P8s and Grades....
I have known schools to literally tells their pupils dont get a part time job, focus on exams!
Schools cancel work experience, to focus on exams!
Look at our Outstanding Ofsted, we are success!
New: “Rigid” and “militaristic” school behaviour systems come in for criticism in report which is feeding in to government review into youth under-employment

@Iainrhall To do this government needs to change:
a) Ofsted
b) The curriculum
The number of NEETS currently seen is due to @Conservatives failings (@michaelgove true legacy!) & @bphillipsonMP inaction/lack of ideas!
Allow schools to innovate to, set them free!
@FrankWNorris Next time you hear @michaelgove & @Conservatives bragging about their performance in education, highlight the rise in NEETs. This is their legacy, not the number of Academies, or the number of Outstanding Ofsteds!
And, just as bad, @bphillipsonMP has come up with nothing new!
@SamStrickers181 Should add though, this it not schools fault though, this is the legacy of <20 years academic focus (Blair Uni, Gove, etc).
And all government much to slow on dealing with Social Media and Phones. Tories knew bout impact 10+ years ago!
@SamStrickers181 I left school many years ago, but I can say some of my many memories of schools, DoE, Swimming, Music, Drama, have nothing to do with 'exams', but every memory 'at school' helped make me the person I am now, and that influenced my career & prepared me for work! 6/6
@grahamchatterl2@LBGHackney@deeharvey Significantly, cus data also includes low level crimes
Secondly this was pre-meditated rape, at knife point, two counts of rape in fact
The public may deem it more appropriate to run with the 2, rather than 3, time risk, in interests of having a deterrent for future rapes
@grahamchatterl2@LBGHackney@deeharvey No, it is very serious
Reality is you supported not sending rapists to jail on basis Rehabilitation is three times more likely by not going to jail
But the data is more like x2, & that is questionable
@grahamchatterl2@LBGHackney@deeharvey 68 divided by 27.5 is less 2.5
27.5% is the data set you used
If you then use 27, why not 28? Since you later round the answer up?
It is because it gives the three times bias seeking?
@grahamchatterl2@LBGHackney@deeharvey It is not being petty though, you are trying to validate your argument by saying its three times as likely to be successful, but using typical rounding process its closer to two times
That is being bias to your position
Then use data that includes low level crime
@grahamchatterl2@LBGHackney@deeharvey Its not half a % though.
What you said was its 3 times a likely to be successful, your own data shows its closer to two times, a multiple of 2, or 3, is not a difference of a single %
The point about funding & quality of provision is valid to
