@nhs_comms That'll explain why we didn't issue any comms at all about the results on publication day! It's disappointingly average again, and of course, it's all 'HR's' problem to 'fix'...
To all the fabulous People people out there, remember #ItsOkayToNotBeOkay. We spend so much time worrying about and looking after others. How do you practice self care and get the support you need?
Why does the NHS continue to reward poor behaviour from its leaders?! People are already broken enough without dealing with the egos and nonsense of those who should be managed out, rather than being promoted and given more power!
Bracing for the onslaught of pay day, when everyone realises that they have been screwed over by the pay award and being pushed to the next pension bracket, yet again!

Trying to find ideas for CIPs within HR whilst being asked to deliver the People Plan, maintain staff morale and wellbeing, recruit more staff, fill ALL the bank shifts, prepare for winter, ensure everyone completes their staff survey, deliver leadership development... it goes on
On NHS National Staff Survey launch day, we dust off last year's guide to "yes, it is confidential"!! Wouldn't it be great if everyone completed theirs so we REALLY knew how our staff felt (not just those that can be bothered to respond)?!
Apparently the fuel shortage is an HR issue... If you can't get to work, what do you expect me to do?? I don't recall having a spare few hundred gallons of fuel hiding in the store cupboard!
