Enabling schools to host & livestream debates with their local candidates in #GE2017 @St_Josephs (19 May) & @Hope_Academy (26 May). Powered by @SeeHearDiscover
With another general election looming, we hope other schools in the UK will follow the lead of @Hope_Academy pupils, who broadcast this debate with local candidates @JacksonNgUK, Rachel Parkinson, @ConorMcGinn@ThomasMorrison and Peter Peers in 2017 https://t.co/EhGyi6v9Xb >
> SeeHearVote's 2017 project director @Mr_Raitt is working abroad this year (in Poland 🇵🇱; the irony!) and can't run debates for the next election. But he would be delighted to advise any schools or other organisations looking to broadcast debates with their local MP candidates.

There seems no more important time to enable more young people to host and livestream broadcast-quality political debates. More details as we have them. Do contact us if you're interested in this for your school, youth group or community from the end of the summer term onwards.
@rjnicolson @neiledinburgh @MarkRPriestley @mrdissent @PaulWheelhouse @MorayHouseHoS Great to feel momentum on this. Am currently preparing £15k funding bid to expand my existing film kit for work in schools to enable pupils to host and livestream pro-quality 4-camera live debates as I did with hired kit @st_josephs & @Hope_Academy with @SeeHearVote in #GE2017 >
A fascinating day for democracy: the referendum being rerun in a people-powered #indicativevote via the government's #petition website: https://t.co/ZHjWsmGym7
The @TheGreenParty conference starts tomorrow. Perhaps @GreenPeterU from our 2017 election debate at @St_Josephs can let us know what slogans are prominent there.
This is doing the social media rounds in a highly politicised context. But, alongside other conference straplines, it makes for great classroom discussion. What is more powerful, one word or three? Is the difference 2015-2018 an implicit/explicit admission of anything?
The @LibDems went for simple name recognition on the podium itself, but an interesting large backdrop with "Demand better ..." across a range of policy areas.
"Rebuilding" is interesting, as it has an implicit connection to the same "we're in a mess at the moment" basis that underlies Trump's 'MAGA' ("Make America Great Again")
Marie Adams from @Hope_Academy@pixlclub on their staff transformation from "Fun bus" to clear pathways to success. Such happy memories of our @seehearvote project there last year.
