Yes!!! I get so angry when people say “just leave the country if you’re so unhappy” but that doesn’t fix the problem. I don’t want to leave. I want a government that actually gives a shit. But I’m THIS close to an Eskom induced breakdown so…….

Most South Africans that I know are resilient and they are loyal. They love their home.

If we could change our government officials in the next election and fix Eskom, I know that these loyal South Africans would throw themselves and their resources into business and property investment.

Bring back the faith in government and you will unleash the proud South African in all of us. I am tired of toxic politics. There is always opportunity in emerging markets.

Can’t plan for anything, can’t work, can’t cook, can’t actually live and yet we must keep paying our rates like we’re not frogs in a pot of water slowly boiling to death.
