I want to extend a huge thanks to @louisetickle for this.
Many would be too afraid of questioning a #judges decision we find this repeatedly from barristers who should be doing it.
At least Louise is doing this in a case where she feels its needed.
However what is not acceptable that as part of the pilot scheme she was made to feel so unwelcome there.
Now many of us know why they don't want reporters there because we know how they treat people and how bad some of their judgements are.
They don't want transparency and they don't want accountability.
I'd like to see more legal bloggers requesting to be able to attended cases which they can do when the court isn't part of the pilot scheme
The results didn't show up well for #FamilyCourt and the professionals within it.
You had the power to help instead you made lives worse.
It's a large percentage who felt abused by #FamilyLaw.
No victim should be going in there to receive this treatment
Family Courts!
There is a widespread yet little-known epidemic that is undermining societal mental health. The truth will be no less than dumfounding! Hear from firsthand witnesses on August 27, 2023, at 12 noon ET:

If this is the hostility shown to journalists like @louisetickle in the #FamilyCourt, imagine how victims of domestic abuse and their children are treated behind closed doors 🚩. @AlexChalkChelt ENOUGH
What should #FamilyCourt reform look like?
1. Accountability - every claim backed by solid evidence
2. Transparency - no hidden hearings. Parents receive all copies of EVERYTHING
3. Immunity removed - why does position need get out of jail free pass?
4. Oversight
More?
Never a truer word spoken the family court is secretive because they are hiding the abuse of women and children and judicial misconduct. Heinous crimes committed by cruel judges. #FamilyCourtISFamilyViolence
No. The law is perfectly clear. You cannot remove a child from her/his parents without a very serious reason. Meanwhile courts are doing this on the basis of utter nonsense.
Why do inmates in prison have more rights to legal representation than #domesticabuse victims & kids in a family court custody case where there is alleged abuse? Why do moms have to go pro se & not have their abuse cases "be handled by the court in a much more efficient manner?"
Family Court- where children are removed from safe parents for no reason, where their voices are silenced & they are handed to their abusers, where everything is done in secret & evidence means nothing.
‘Family court’ destroys families.

Researching family court proceedings: what are we doing to children who summon the courage to tell professionals about abuse they’ve experienced, over and over, and no one hears them because their minds are blocked by narratives of ‘parental alienation’. It’s too heartbreaking 😢
If I had known what family court was like I wouldn't have stepped foot through the door
Unfortunately for many when they reach out for help from social services, police etc and the perpetrator is emboldened in their behaviour refuses to return your child you're left wirh no choice.
If I knew what I would be facing I would have taken my son and left quickly to somewhere safe.
Family Courts - The Lib Dem MP Sarah Olney told parliament: “The continued reliance on self-declared experts to provide evidence in family courts is placing thousands of children and vulnerable women at risk."
