@RobSilver Dumping on SNL is akin to the over-the-top Nickelback hate. I've watched SNL for over 30 years. 50% of the sketches are meh to cringy, 30% are mildly amusing and 10-20% are actually quite funny. Some seasons/casts range, but eras have been relatively consistent IMO.
@spen______ For me it's the utter lack of judgement. I think Vladdy generally tries and I think he wants the best for himself and the team, but that was an ill-timed, mind-numbing mistake.
@RobSilver I know there's injury concerns, but it's not like his offensive output thus far should dictate he be this protected. Given the situation, they really could use the lineup versatility.
@RobSilver I've been curious since last year's playoffs and the Bo injury as to why the team completely dismisses the idea of Springer playing, even sparingly, in the OF. I mean, he was more than adequate defensively and could be solution to get Sanchez some ABs at DH.
@SNJeffBlair I'm pretty sure I heard the same diagnosis about Vladdy in the past. Seems like something obvious that Vlad or Jays staff would have caught, no?
@ThePME Hi Pat. Sorry to bother you with this, but I haven't been able to access the FN engine since yesterday - keep getting error page. Tried everything. Sent a DM to the FN X account yesterday and an email to FN support this morning, but still no reply. Any advice?
@SNJeffBlair FWIW I did an A.I. dive into the Santander-type injury: Grade-2 oblique strain 1-2 month recovery, Grade-3 strain 3-4 months with "noticeable drop in swing speed and barrel rate for weeks" after return. 12% reinjury rate. Grade-3 seems to track.
@ArdenZwelling Assuming this five stay healthy and the Jays trade for another SP prior to deadline, do they go six-man rotation or move someone to the BP?
@TheAgenda Thank you, Steve and to all the talented crew behind @TheAgenda for a truly special run. It's increasingly rare these days to find a show whose sole motivation is to educate and inform its viewers with genuine earnestness, curiosity, and integrity. Bravo!
