@Metra@metraRID Curious why Metra would inconvenience fans going to Sox games that weekend. The work couldn’t be scheduled for a different weekend? Please be more considerate of your southside riders.
@chicagobars I cancelled the Trib in January, telling them I didn’t want to pay to read Vallas’s opinions, citing the 20+ opinions they had published since the election. The editorial page editor responded: “Paul, in my view, has some good ideas”. Thus confirming I made the right decision.
@metraRID It isn’t a “Presidential Motorcade”. It’s Donald Trump’s motorcade. He’s not the President. You can call it an “official motorcade”, but not a “Presidential Motorcade”.
@vtg2 Then you would be wrong. I don’t understand the defensiveness to our well-founded criticism. Lower the deflector shields and listen to what we are saying.
@KeyToLife1229 @MimerE111@RexHuppke I respect your opinion and observations from your own parking lot. I’m still going to back in whenever I can, and I’ll patiently wait if other drivers do the same. It’s safer. Have a good night.
@KeyToLife1229 @MimerE111@RexHuppke In the parking garage, people make a whole line of cars wait while they maneuver out of the space backwards. Plus, I wonder whether ppl arguing against backing in have ever been followed by a stranger in a parking garage.
@MaryAnnAhernNBC How would it be an “upset” if he does win 75%? “Upsets” are for the NCAA tournament. You easily could have said: Harris would need to win 75% of remaining ballots to win the election. Let’s eliminate the biased language please.
@Suntimes This is bad framing. Neither candidate is “leading”. This isn’t a horse race. Simply report the vote totals, how many known votes remain to be counted, and how many VBM ballots remain unreturned.
@thomasj_hurley ABC aired a clip of her speaking and viewers drew a conclusion. If you and others say the conclusion was incorrect, ok. But that’s not “dirty politics”.
