Teaching children requires patience. Correct, encourage, repeat, and keep showing up.

Consistency from the teacher eventually becomes confidence in the child.

The art of teaching children comes with:

*Constant correction and pronunciation of words
*Lots of talking
*Small drama and mood from the children
*Difficult vocabulary
*Reading books the child doesn't enjoy
*Asking the children to read aloud—sometimes for confidence

In all these, the teachers can sometimes feel overwhelmed.

The experience may even make reading become unpleasant for the child.

Consistency from the teacher, transferred to the child is key.

Parent tip 📚

When your child makes a mistake while reading, don't interrupt every sentence.

Let them finish, then go back to the difficult word and guide them through it.

Correct them without making them afraid to make mistakes.

Confidence is part of learning too.

One of the best things I've learned is that you don't have to attend every argument you're invited to.

Some things really don't deserve your energy.

Let people be wrong in peace. 😂

I'm starting to think some people don't actually like advice.

They just want someone to listen to the entire story, shake their head occasionally, and say:

"You're right. They were wrong."

And honestly? Sometimes that's all we need. 😂

Did you know that a sentence can be just one word? For example, ‘Stop!’ ‘Run!’ ‘Come!’ These are sentences because they express a complete thought or command. So, a sentence doesn't always have to be a long group of words. Sometimes, one word is enough
