@etihad has seriously failed in their duty of care with their treatment of my family and my niece who has ASD/ADHD. We are disgusted by their behavior. My mother chose Etihad as she traveled with them for @SpecialOlympics in 2019. You can read the full account of the events below

Etihad was an official Partner of the Special Olympics in 2019. My mother, Fiona, was one of the 100 Irish Volunteers. This is why my mother chose to fly with them. We cant even believe the current situation

My Dad and my cousin were already seated and were pulled off the plane. After 3 years of no holidays finally spending thousands with @etihad @EtihadHelp to be treated like this, to treat someone with ASD like this is unacceptable

The majority of the staff have been empathetic and tried to help in the airport but none have the authority to help them. It was the one staff member who handled the situation at the gate that was the issue. They were boarding the EY42 9.20 DUB to AUH.

I have had to contact their travel agent, who thankfully answered her phone on a SUNDAY! Who, now for the last 2 and a half hours, has been trying to call EY to get their flights rescheduled/redirected. @DublinAirport
