California families are being squeezed by some of the highest energy costs in the country, and enough is enough.
I’m joining Senator Tony Strickland in calling for the immediate resignation of every member of the California Energy Commission.
Unelected bureaucrats shouldn’t be making decisions that drive up the cost of getting to work, keeping the lights on, and providing for our families without being held accountable.
Californians deserve affordable energy and leaders who understand the real-world consequences of their decisions.
It’s time for accountability.
Dunlop Tires sends lengthy press release tonight re: new rules around replacement tires in California.
The company urged policy makers to carefully assess the long-term effects on consumer safety, choice, affordability and competition:
Right before 5pm today, the California Energy Commission’s spokesperson sent me an email urging me to “consider taking a different tone” w/ my reporting on state’s new tire rules.
Here’s the email and info for you to consider. Note: commissioners haven’t disputed 70% figure.
Meet termed-out politician Nancy, she’s a radical extremist politician who Gov Newsom appointed to a cushy 200k salaried commissioner position and has decided to focus on making life more unaffordable however she can: today’s goal: drive up the cost of tires by limiting supply. Pretty soon you’ll need a loan just to replace your tires…
Let's take a walk through this new law. Consider the work that went into it for essentially no return other than control. It took California more than 20 YEARS to implement this tire mandate. Even using California’s own estimates, this new standard would save consumers about $38 a year after accounting for the higher upfront cost of the tires (yes it will cost more up front).
But think about the other costs, manufacturers now have to make products compliant specifically for California or potentially pull certain tires from the market altogether. Big manufacturers may be able to absorb that, but smaller manufacturers with less capital will not. All of this bureaucracy, compliance, and reduced consumer choice for a projected $38 a year savings for drivers....deeerp
@ZavalaA $79 savings is about 11 gal gas per person over 5 months. This is optimistic.
The trade off is these tires wear out faster. Ever wonder why you have to replace tires on a new car before 25-30k miles?
You get half the life, spend $1k to replace early. Save $79.
CA is nuts
The man, the myth, the legend… the Bay Area’s most iconic pitchman ever.
Paul from the Diamond Center👨🏻💎
Everyone in SF and the Bay knew him. That kind of shared local culture is almost gone in a city full of temporary residents and global money.

Judge Freeman is only about 48 too. Prime SCOTUS age.
By doing this, she killed her chance of ever getting a SCOTUS seat. Everytown will never let a Dem president pick her.
She had to know that going in, and still ruled correctly.
BASED.
I ran over an IED and countless incoming throughout my deployment in 2011. In 2012, I tried to power through and enjoy them but really struggled. 2013, I was driving through town and someone fired off something from the road side as I drove past, which REALLY fucked with me. Needless to say, fireworks just aren't for me anymore.
However, in light of the CommieJihadicrats making their push out of the shadows, I hope that Americans make it sound like the opening shots of WWIII from LA to NYC. I want my PTSD to have PTSD from the number of fireworks going off.
Los colombianos tomaron cdmx y Guadalajara y, se fueron agradecidos
