Skys John Sparks, speaking from Jerusalem: ".. the ceasefire in Gaza, the 1st phase was implemented last Oct, its brought about a semblance of peace in Gaza"
Moments later:
Dr James Smith, speaking from Gaza: "I must challenge your correspondent, there is no ceasefire in Gaza"
Bailout: £45.5 billion
Recovered: £35.0 billion
Net cost to taxpayers: about £10.5 billion
Why aren't we getting the full bailout sum back, with interest?
I just wanted to thank @metpoliceuk and @andyburnham for ensuring we will not be terrorised by old women in wheel chairs with pieces of paper with words on, I think we can all agree that we will sleep more soundly tonight! 🤦🏻♀️
@mattchalk76@GMCSouthLondon@RichardBurgon@DrRosena Perhaps a caveat, that covers the maintaining of professional development and registration requirements for those in public service jobs, such as health & social care, emergency and education, would be possible?
Side note; Landlording gets called “work”. Clamp down needed!
When an MP can pocket more for a couple of hours of “work” than a nurse earns in a year, something is broken in our politics.
I've brought a Bill to ban ALL MPs' second jobs and will be launching a big campaign in the autumn to get this passed.

@owenjonesjourno 👏👏
The government has overruled a Tower Hamlets Council decision and disregarded enormous local opposition to a proposed AI data centre on Brick Lane in East London, one of the most densely-populated areas in the country.
This is a scandalous intervention from the government that should be reversed immediately. We cannot allow private profiteers to squeeze the life and soul out of our communities, especially when their endeavours are a dangerous mix of odious social cleansing and environmental damage.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court has granted permission to appeal the Court of Appeal judgment on the Palestine Action ban.
We will be arguing in the Supreme Court that the ban is unlawful, as it is disproportionate to free speech and the right to protest.
The fight continues.
Govt planning c. 100 new data centres by early 2030s, mostly in water stressed areas - with no legal duty to disclose how much water they use. Meanwhile Govt launches £75m publicity campaign to urge us to reduce water use & privatised water companies waste 19% thro leaks. Madness
“I have had 5 letters from West Yorkshire Police telling me to go to a police station, don't go to a police station, go to Leeds Magistrates Court, don't go to Leeds... go to Westminster... I emailed the court: 'Do I have to come?' They emailed back and said yes. I got here and they said no.”
Outside Westminster Magistrates Court, an activist who traveled down from West Yorkshire exposes the sheer administrative breakdown facing defendants summoned under anti-terror legislation.
After receiving contradicting instructions across five separate communications, she confirmed her attendance in writing—only to arrive in London and be turned away at the courtroom door. While court officials acknowledged the failure to notify her and offered to reimburse over £100 in travel expenses, the incident highlights a deeply dysfunctional system burning public funds and dragging ordinary people across the country for last-minute adjournments.

NEW: Sir Jonathon Porritt, arrested under Terrorism law outside Westminster Magistrates Court.
As police escorted him away he said "I am a supporter of Palestine Action, trying to save lives is not terrorism, exposing this Governments complicity in genocide is not terrorism."
Left: Robert Jenrick scoffs that Zack Polanski should have resigned for sharing a collab post on Instagram. Then says a decent person would apologise
Right: When a Reform councillor shared a death threat against a Labour MP, Keir Starmer asked Nigel Farage to apologise in parliament, he refused to do so
Using Robert Jenrick's logic, Nigel Farage isn't a decent person
Total farce
Jenrick has just undertaken a Press conference - broadcast by the media on the day of the Manchester Mayoral election based on nothing but fantasy.
Throwing out random figures and processes that have not even been announced
HE THEN PROMOTES PALANTIR - so there you have it - promoting the US based, Trump affiliated billionaire
THAT IS WHAT REFORM ARE ABOUT
