Just booked a trip to Rome 🇮🇹
And it got me thinking about the balance between building wealth and actually enjoying your 20s.
I want to invest consistently, increase my income and build towards financial freedom.
But I also want to travel, go out, eat good food and make memories.
I could save every penny and reach my goals faster…
…but what’s the point if I spend the next 10 years waiting to actually live?
How do you balance investing for your future with enjoying life now? 💰✈️
What a week for Crypto.
Up 25 %📈📈📈📈
Less than 4% of my portfolio is in crypto. I see this as fun experimental rather than long term growth.
What’s your allocation for crypto?
One of the better financial decisions I made this year:
I changed my car for one worth roughly twice as much.
Put 30% down, and it costs me ~£200 more a month. Compared to £0 as I fully paid it off last year.
But it’s more reliable, more economical for the motorway miles I do, way more comfortable and more enjoyable to drive.
It’s also bigger, so I no longer have to play Tetris at IKEA every time I buy something or get a van.
Sometimes spending more on something you use every day is worth it.
