Blumo Goes to Washington - A Canadian Seiko SBDC003 from Saskatchewan visits America. Hijinks ensue.

[Doktor Doom @DokDoom]

@SeikoBlumo so I'm seriously tempted by the Blumo. Do I need it? No-bought 3 watches since April :/
....pls convince me it's a great watch

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

@DokDoom As a Blumo myself, I think I'm pretty awesome, but for a more balanced perspective, read this: http://t.co/cQjZbbLHp8

This guy brought his watch collection in a rifle case. Americans! Am I right?

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

Here I am at the DC Watchtoberfest, mingling with my fellow time pieces.

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

@CrustyTheSeiko ROTFLMAO!

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

I'm cold. And bored. And there's sand under my strap. Can we go now?

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

The ocean in all its glory! It is what I was made for.

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

@kmicalgod Now THAT would be a cool watch exchange.

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

At the White House. Meh. I thought it would be bigger.

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

@kmicalgod How you gonna keep me down on the farm after I've seen DC?

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

@thetimebum took me out to dinner with friends tonight. Sushi, so kind of a cliché, but it's the thought that counts.

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

Thick straps? No problem. Check out this @Piedmont_Red vinyl! I feel like David Bowie in his Ziggy Stardust days.

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

What to wear... What to wear...

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

@kmicalgod @thetimebum Ah, memories... Painful, painful memories.

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

NATO strap. That's more like it!

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

5mm gap b/w case and spring bar + 2 pc strap + man's wrist = hideous arm hair frame. Not a good look.

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

Adjusting to life on a man. The Bum's wrist is only slightly bigger than Kim's, but much hairier. Seriously, it's like Kevin's forepaw.

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

@thetimebum seems genuinely surprised by the size of my case. What part of the "Sumo" nickname was unclear?

[kimsblumo @SeikoBlumo]

@kmicalgod sent the wrong bracelet. This is why you should pack your own bag! Well, this and terrorism, contraband... Ok, it could be worse.
