'HOLD ON A MINUTE' is a one-minute countdown spread across sixty £10 notes.

Each piece captures a unique single second before inevitable destruction.

All notes are hand-cut and painted, then boxed in a reworked version of the Treasury's red Budget Box, ready to gift a loved one (yourself) for Christmas.

We’ve got exciting news.

CTRL is now fully under the control and ownership of its creators: @thesovereignbtc, @0nepennypiece, and @RabbiGains.

This is a moment we’ve dreamed of since day one, and we hope our holders share our excitement. We believe in CTRL, in what it stands for, and in the community that’s carried it this far.

The artwork that became the SeizeCTRL 404 collection was built over many years - a raw, honest expression of resistance, autonomy, and the fight against centralised power. That spirit has always been the foundation of everything we’ve done.

When a combination of tragedy and fate brought this team together in early 2023, the vision was clear: to build something powerful around that art and message. @HelloMetaversal was part of that story from the very beginning - providing the resources and support that helped make CTRL possible, including funding our legendary hunt for the first ever Rare Sat inscription. For that, we are eternally grateful.

CTRL has always spoken about decentralisation and sovereignty, so it was natural for us to evolve into an independent organisation that can stand on our own feet.

The recent spin-out into CTRL Labs Inc means the project is now independently run by @thesovereignbtc, @0nepennypiece, and @RabbiGains.

For the first time since the release of the 404, the stars are aligned once again: the art, the message, and the structure all pointing in the same direction.

Sieze Ctrl! Amazing collection. I was there when the first rare sat was inscribed. I merely got into rare sats, realized that rare sats could be hunted, and there they were: these fellas pooled funds and already had a Rodarmor rare sat to parent their collection.

404 uncommons that have provenance from the first rodarmor rare sat to ever get inscribed. Few people understand how big an achievement it was to find such a Satoshi back then.

@Magisat_io and other tools were nonexistent. Hunters needed to rely solely on their indexers and Sparrow wallet to sift through special sats. Nevertheless, Ctrl did it. I was speechless for a few weeks when this dropped. This is what I call real provenance.

Since then, the CTRL team continued to promote rare sats, inscribe dope art on rare sats, and push the space forward!
