Former attorney. Former fund manager. Now a philanthropic misanthrope. Or a misanthropic philanthropist. Not sure. Definitely an aviator though but not vegan.
Everyone keeps talking abt the thousands of millionaires created by Musk and SpaceX. That won't make the Democrats stop attacking him. It's not a positive to them. It's thousands of people who are no longer dependent on the govt, who no longer need the Dems to take care of them.
It's not that the leftists don't know that Musk and SpaceX have created thousands of millionaires, including janitors, welders and even cafeteria workers. They know. They just would prefer it didn't happen. They need those folks addicted to their welfare to maintain power.
@exjon I am an investor in SpaceX and Tesla. The amount of money in Elon's account definitely has an effect on the amount of money in mine. I hope he makes a few more trillion.
The government has NEVER once created prosperity. Sure, they can take care of the poor (although they generally fail at that as well), but they have never lifted anyone out of poverty. They have never turned a janitor into a millionaire the way that Elon has.
This the basic difference.
Republicans believe that that if you let the wealthy spend capital it will make Americans prosperous.
Democrats believe that the federal government investing in the healthcare & education of our people will make America prosperous & productive.
I really donβt understand true greed. If I was worth $1 trillion, youβd have to physically stop me from solving as many of the worldβs problems as possible.
Everyone would have a home, food on the table, proper healthcare, happiness.
I just donβt get it.
I want Musk to have even more because he is a proven wealth creator - more so than any government ever. Capital in his hands multiplies. Economies he's in grow wildly. He is a national treasure.
Elon Musk is going to be worth over a trillion dollars.
He could buy 20 mansions worth $10 million each in every state and it would only be 1% of his worth.
People. That's too much money for one human to have.
The ascension of the first person in history to trillionaire status is something to celebrate. It's a story that could only happen in America. Along the way, Elon created thousands of other billionaires and millionaires and added trillions to the economy. Congratulations!
The Democrats are very upset about this. They hate the fact that people can become wealthy in America.
In the Democrats' world, where they make it impossible for people to become billionaires and trillionaires, it makes it that much harder for YOU to grow your wealth also.
Sorry, Mel. We didn't create a trillionaire. Elon did most of the heavy lifting there. If "we" could create millionaires, billionaires and trillionaires, there wouldn't be any homeless or hungry people.
It is a moral failure of our country that we changed the rules to create a trillionaire while doing nothing about the 771,000 homeless and over 18 million who do not have enough to eat.
I have a feeling that Karmelo Anthony's parents urged him not to take a plea deal and go to trial so that they could continue raking in money via their GoFundMe. And they will continue fundraising throughout his (futile) appeal.
Nazi Graham Platner is celebrating tonight but what he cant forget that the Democrats will dump him overboard and find a new candidate the minute polls show him losing to Collins. Doesn't matter how many votes he got in the primary. If the Dems think he's losing, he's gone.
Democratic elections aren't just about who wins and loses. The losers have to believe the election was conducted fairly. Everything about the California election system is designed to erode trust in the outcome.
They want you to believe that the candidate that was in 3rd place on election beat the 1st place candidate on every batch of ballots counted after election day. Sure. An election is being stolen in broad daylight because they know they can get away with it.

SCHUMER: "Any other subject you got?β
Q: βAre you still supporting Graham Platner?β
SCHUMER: βI endorsed Graham Platner."
