The culture of bullying, violence and toxicity within the rugby fraternity is seriously alarming! First those school boys in Cape Town, now this!!!😡🤬😡
This Lions rugby player attacked my friends son-look at what that bully did to him!!! The courts need to do best!
I posted about this earlier and it seems my post disappeared…
Let me repeat in case @LionsRugbyCo and @bron_mills missed it the first time. https://t.co/MMk0iKGyAG
As we now wait to see how @LionsRugbyCo deals with violent thugs in their midst. Bullies should be eradicated from all spheres of society! https://t.co/F2JzmZ1lNz
SPOTLIGHT:
Mpho Queen Motlatle
The woman leading the team in the hair department on #shakailembemzansi
With an extensive experience spanning over 30 years in the make-up and hair field within the industry, Queen Motlatle is a titan.
For Shaka iLembe and to achieve the look of historic relevance and screen presentation, Motlatle researched traditional hair products, infusing them with modern products like holding sprays to ensure historical accuracy in the hairstyles depicted in the show.
Through thorough research and meticulous attention to detail, Motlatle and her team visually and aesthetically transported the characters on the epic Mzansi Magic show to a story set in the late 17th and 18th centuries.
Her work on Shaka iLembe won her a SAFTA for season 1 of the show. She will definitely win it again for the current season.
We applaud your talent and work, Queen Motlatle — ausi wako Alexandra!
Shoutout to Smangele Nhlabathi who serves as Hair & Makeup Supervisor on the show.

We heard stories of deities, djinns and mermaids that live alongside humans, showing that African stories cross the line between real and surreal with ease. These tales were reimagined through afro-futurism and magical realism, to the beats of traditional drums. #AfricaReimagined
We welcomed 21 finalists of @UNESCO-@Netflix competition "African Folktales, Reimagined" to pitch their stories. These emerging filmmakers from the world's youngest continent manifest the burgeoning, proudly African film industries of tomorrow. #NetflixUNESCO#AfricaReimagined
