We finally have an explanation for “Facebook is listening to me through my phone”. They’d never do that (and it’s not really possible).
Turns out literally everyone else was — and then selling that to ad data brokers.
@RhoRider@nic_carter >so radioactive it needs to be quarantined for 15+ years
Thats even better.
The ETF issuer can sort out custody and the number of entities willing to handle radioactive gold is in the single digits.
@HighCoinviction I agree mostly but over allocation to projects that have delivered absolutely nothing while giving founders/VCs an exit has soured a lot of retail.
So they look for opportunities somewhere unless there’s a fix.
A financial column published in South Korea now warns of memory oversupply in 2029, after new capacity comes online.
They argue Korea has only 2-3 years to develop new growth industries before the cycle potentially reverses.

@vibhu Uhh, why would someone at a foundation brag about this?
Basically spending a shit ton of money on an office space location that yields little benefit.
Vitalik Buterin: Without AI, Ethereum's Lean Roadmap Might Have to Wait Until 2040
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin @VitalikButerin said in an October 9 interview with Balaji Srinivasan @balajis at the Network State Conference 2026 that AI has become an important factor in advancing the Lean Ethereum roadmap.
Buterin said that given the roadmap's current goals and level of ambition, without AI, the work might have taken until 2040 or even 2050 to complete. He added that AI is now contributing to a significant amount of research and coding, substantially accelerating progress on the roadmap.
The best reason to become an L2 is either something technical that Ethereum offers, or as a way to boot strap distribution.
Ethereum community should just accept both and stop being sissy bitches.
My two cents in the @Starknet proposal is that companies and ecosystems should always pursue product market fit beyond all else.
If becoming an L1 helps them with PMF, then they should race ahead and go for it.
Staying, or becoming an L2, shouldn’t rely upon cult alignment. It should simply be the best business decision from features, operational costs, access to liquidity etc.
Answering those questions will depend on the teams business objectives and technical capabilities.
Many teams will benefit from becoming L2s, others who are willing to have higher operational costs and are technically capable, may simply want to go the L1 route.
I hope they do what is best for themselves and their users.
🎬 Netflix has confirmed that @cz_binance will also appear as a character in its latest crypto series, “The Altruists.”
The series follows the FTX collapse, focusing on SBF and his controversial relationship with Caroline Ellison.
CZ is just a supporting character. He doesn't even appear in the trailer.
I'm curious how Netflix will portray him.
And one more question: Does Netflix need CZ's permission and have to pay him for the rights to portray him in the series?
